This is a new opportunity to engage in learning about church fore fathers/mothers and to have fun doing so.
This is an exciting way to get involved with the church, either in person, or online.
About Lent Madness:
The format is straightforward: Thirty-two saints are placed in a tournament-style, single-elimination bracket. Each pairing remains open for twenty-four hours, and people vote for their favorite saints. Sixteen saints make it to the Saintly Sixteen; eight advance to the Elate Eight; four make it to the Faithful Four; two to the Championship; and the winner is awarded the coveted Golden Halo. The first round consists of basic biographical information about each of the thrity-two saints, then things get more interesting in the subsequent rounds as we offer quotes and quirks, explore legends, and even move into the saintly kitsch. Keep up with the score at church (we have two posters with the bracket that will be updated daily) or online with literature and videos.
