Community Outreach

There are many opportunities to engage the community outside of the church. While we do specific outreach at the church building, we also partner with other groups in Baldwin County to help bolster our community. Here you will find a list of opportunities to reach out as an individual, with friends or family, or even with the congregation.

Cafe Central

Cafe Central Soup Kitchen is located at Freedom Church in Milledgeville, GA. Every Tuesday, from 11 am to 1 pm, Cafe Central volunteers welcome our guests and seat them, taking their drink order and serving all-they-care-to-eat from the days menu, including bread and dessert. Cafe Central is a ministry of Church Central and is coordinated by Ann Bowen. Milledgeville Improvement Community

This group is working in conjunction with Milledgeville Community Garden Association to create more community gardens in our area. The second one, Manor Garden, is under construction. Information about volunteering can be found here.

March Against Domestic Violence

The Presbyterian Women work in conjunction with the Solicitor General's Office to provide participants of the march information about Domestic Violence and snacks while they walk. The 2023 March is scheduled for Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 10:00 am.
