This Advent has been very busy for us here at First Presbyterian Church. It began with Communion on the first Sunday of December and has continued with events sponsored by the church for fellowship opportunities and for prayerful moments in this busy season.
The St. Nicholas Day Festival and chili cook off was a success, considering the rainty weather. Those who attended had a wonderful time and learned all about the Patron Saint of children, the poor and fishermen to name a few.
Our next fellowship opportunity is the Winter Wonder Family Walk. The time slot has already sold out, but we encourage you to take advantage of this lovely event held every weekend through the Christmas season by getting your tickets for another time slot.
Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year and we will be having two services. A Blue Christmas Healing Service at our regular time of 11:00 AM and our Candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 5:30 PM. We hope you will join us in one or both of these services.
