That title is a mouthful, but it's all interrelated. This Saturday is Earth Day and we will celebrate it on Sunday with a special Creation Care worship service at 11:00 AM. Following the service, we will gather in the Fellowship Hall to paint rocks. Trust us- this is a fun activity for people of all ages. As usual, there will be light refreshments available after church to enjoy while creating rocks for the rock garden or for your own yard.
We are also hoping to restart the Green Initiative and are looking for anyone interested in being a part of this group. An exploratory meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 25, at 5:30 PM. This group will help lead the congregation in recycling options, inform us of new ways to care for God's creation and hopefully encourage our entire community to be better stewards of the planet.
We look forward to seeing you at some or all of these activities. Please feel free to call the church office if you have any questions- (478)452-9394.
